Today I went a bit off my diet eating out for lunch and dinner.
Having completed a long 17 mile run this morning I ate a lot more than I usually do.
And I had a good amount of bread today which I normally don’t eat as I don’t feel great when I do eat it.
Enjoyed my meals but it’s time to get back on track tomorrow.
Like I said in the two previous articles if you eat wholesome, unprocessed foods 80 to 90% of the time you can enjoy a few meals a week where you’re less strict with your diet.
Below is what I ate today and stay tuned for tomorrow!
1st meal: Post workout
- 1 cup of bone broth
- 2 rau cacao drinks with a handful of raw cacao nibs- Cacao is loaded with antioxidants and healthy fats
2nd meal: Lunch
- Caesar salad
- Club sandwich
- 3 hard boiled eggs with avocado mayo on 2 slices of ezekial bread- Avocados are so good for you loaded with healthy fats
- cup of sautéed brussels sprouts in olive oil and garlic
- few Mary’s gone crackers with some guacamole- These crackers taste really good and consist of whole grain brown rice, whole grain quinoa, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, brown flax seeds, brown sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sea salt, sea weed, herbs, and black pepper. Also, they contain no sugar.
4th meal: Dinner
- Kale Caesar salad
- Cup of M & M’s
