However, “If you focus on positive thoughts, and have goals that you aim to achieve you will find a way to achieve them with massive action.”(1)

Whether you want to lose weight, make more money, improve your relationships or whatever it may be, only you can change the direction of your life.

So if you don’t like the direction your life is heading, change it.

“Life is a blank canvas of possibility; you are in control of what the finished picture could look like.”(1)

Here are some ways you can start using the law of attraction in your everyday life to benefit yourself.

1) Become more aware of your thoughts.  If you find yourself thinking negatively stop yourself and focus on something positive.

2)Practice creative visualization.  A few ways to do this are to:

    – Create a vision board.  A vision board is a collection of your aspirations.  Like the vision board above simply get any big board made from things such as cork or wood and place pictures from magazines, and affirmations on the board that remind you of your goals and what you wish to achieve.

    – Create visual affirmations.  “An affirmation is a simple statement that reshapes your beliefs and helps you move towards your life goals.”(2)  An example of an affirmation is “I am capable of achieving everything I want”.  Simply write down your affirmations on a sign or piece of paper and stick them where you will see them everyday.  Or write them down 5-10 times in the morning or at night before you go to bed.

    – Create positive lists.  Write down 10 positive things about yourself and place this where you will see it each day.  The more you focus on your positive attributes the more you will believe you can and deserve to accomplish your goals.  Or every day write down 3-5 things you are grateful for as this will help you to view your life in a more positive light.

3)Repeat positive affirmations to yourself.  Whether it’s repeating positive thoughts to yourself or getting in front of the mirror and saying them out loud repeat affirmations of the life you want to create.

Personally, like many people I am a work in progress when it comes to the law of attraction.

I tend to be more of a pessimist but am trying to become more positive as I truly believe your thoughts become your reality.
